10 - Belles of the Ball

Tulips are Netherlands' iconic flower and throughout April and May, locals and tourists visit tulip fields scattered throughout Holland. A legendary place to get your tulip 'fix' is Keukenhof, close to the town of Lisse, S. of Amsterdam, known for vast tulip fields, sublime landscaped gardens and exhibition pavilions. In this capture, the way light shone through the flower's petals making them glow appealed to me. Alternate image sizes and media available upon request.
