Trio of Canoes

Canoes were vitally important to the people of Canada and the birchbark canoes were used by Aboriginals and European settlers as they were easy to use and lightweight. I think one of the reasons I like to paint canoes is because they are synonymous with Canada or maybe it’s because I just like the shape of these boat. Each of the beautiful red canoes are nestled beside each other creating a humanistic element.
