Arctic Angel

There are many types of beautiful birds in the Arctic that most people further south will never see. A beautiful rare bird with black legs and a yellow-tipped beak. The Ivory Gull is endangered with only an estimated 500-700 adults left due to climate change, resource extraction and toxins. On one of my trips to the Arctic, We were lucky enough to spot this Ivory Gull landing on an iceberg, and we were close enough in the zodiac to capture some good shots of it landing and feeding.
