"I’ve been a writer, film director and painter. Of the three, painting provides me the most visceral satisfaction.
Except for being recognized for using a colourful oil palette, I claim no particular style. Each project and my mood dictate the approach.
To quote one of my teachers., “I always love having you in my class because I never know what you’re going to show up with from one day to the next”.
I think of myself as “The Mindfulness Artist.” as the practice of mindfulness is at the heart of my paintings.
No one painting will resonate with everyone who sees it. It gives me great joy when someone lingers over one of my paintings because it speaks to them on some subconscious level.
My works are in over 40 private collections in Canada, the US and Asia. I love staying in touch with my collectors and am honoured that some of them have acquired 4 or more of my paintings.
Currently my works are available on-line or through my studio (by appointment). I love the direct connection with my collectors. I accept a limited number of commissions each year.
I love living in Niagara on the Lake with my husband. While I was thrilled to live in Iran, Nigeria, Hong Kong, India and Syria, there really is no place like home".
