Media Day 2019
Media Day 2019 for the 33rd Annual Pelham Art Festival Show and Sale was held at the Meridian Community Centre in Fonthill where Executive Festival Chair, Heidi TeBrake, presented Pelham Library Board Chair Tim Wright and Library Deputy CEO Amy Guilmette with a cheque donation for $10,000 to support the Pelham Library System. Festival committee members Jason Chow, Diana Huson, and Dave Smith were on hand when the donation was presented. The Pelham Art Festival fund-raising donations total more than $445.000.
On April 13th, Committee Advertising Coordinator Diana Huson invited Mike Balsom from the Source at Cogeco TV Niagara to attend the Pelham Art Festival’s Show and Sale 2019 Media Day. Festival Committee Chair Heidi TeBrake spoke about the upcoming Festival. Participating this year, Ceramic artist Shu-Chen Cheng described her Raku firing method and involvement with the show, and cement sculptor Richard Sereda talked about his introduction to cement, poly/acrylic, concrete dye, and metal sculpture. Jennifer Emily, new fine art artist to the Festival this year, previewed her oil on linen artwork, and, fine art oil artist Francie McGlynn was also on hand speaking about her oils and lino block prints. Many thanks to Cogeco TV and Mike Balsom for a great job and promotional boost for our Festival.

The Pelham Art Festival fund-raising donations total more than $425.000.

Media Day for the 31st Annual Pelham Art Festival Show and Sale in 2017 was held at Maple Acre Branch Library where Art Festival Executive Chair, Heidi TeBrake, presented Pelham Public Library CEO, Kirk Weaver, with a cheque donation for $10,000 to support the Pelham Library System. On April 24th, Community Producer Bea Clark invited Stephen Parr from the Source at Cogeco TV Niagara on to attend the Pelham Art Festival’s Show and Sale 2017 Media Day. Festival Chair Heidi TeBrake spoke about the upcoming Festival and it's history. Participating this year, new artisan Susan Holly described her stained glass methods, and new artist Jane Marshall talked about her acrylic artworks and involvement with the show. Fine art photographer Natalia Shields spoke about her focus on trees and gave us a preview of her Canada 150 tribute inspired by Emily Carr. Many thanks to Cogeco TV and Stephen Parr for a great job and promotional boost to our Festival.

At Media Day in the Festival Room of the library, Heidi TeBrake, Executive Chair of the 30th Pelham Art Festival, presented a donation cheque for $10,000 to Pelham Library CEO Kirk Weaver to support the Pelham Library System. Festival committee members, Cathy Peters and Els Swart were on hand for the presentation. Festival fund-raising donations total almost $400,000.
Heidi TeBrake, Executive Chair of the Pelham Art Festival, presented a fundraising campaign donation cheque for $20,000 to Pelham Library Board President Tim Wright for the $1-million Maple Acre branch expansion.
On April 19th, Community Producer John Swart invited the Cogeco TV news team of Mark Wikobrado and Leah Schoeman from the Source to attend the Pelham Art Festival’s 2016 Media Day. Festival Committee member Cathy Peters spoke about the upcoming Art Festival. Participating this year, new artist Philip Brazeau, and long time show artists Linda Kemp and Beverly Sneath talked about their artworks and involvement with the show. Pelham library CEO, Kirk Weaver, accepted a $10,000 cheque, thanking the Festival for it's 30 years of ongoing support of the Pelham library system. Shortly before the 29th Pelham Art Festival Show and Sale on Media Day in the Festival Room of the library, Heidi TeBrake, Executive Chair, presented a donation cheque for $10,000 to Pelham library CEO Kirk Weaver in support of the Pelham Library System. Festival fund-raising donations total almost $400,000.
The Boggio Family of Pharmacies were sponsors for the 2015 Festival. Aaron, Sue, and Kyle Boggio presented a cheque for $2000 to Executive Chair Heidi TeBrake, on Media Day in the Pelham Library Festival Room.

A couple of weeks before the 28th Annual Pelham Art Festival, Community Producer Diane Rawsthorn invited Cogeco TV
to the Festival Room at the Pelham Library for Media Day. Chairperson Heidi TeBrake spoke about the upcoming Festival, and Marvyn Rivett, a featured draw artist spoke about his artwork and donated draw painting. Festival Committee member Sandee Matthews talked about how the Art Project idea came about, and Toye Chanpen Hayes, Coordinator of the Community Art Project "Let's Make a Painting" invited people to join in painting “The Comfort Maple” community painting at the Festival. Many thanks to the Source at Cogeco TV for a great job and Festival promotional boost.

Pelham Artist Diane Slaight was interviewed by the Welland Tribune’s Pelham News for the Art Festival, and is showing her artworks at the Pelham Art Festival Show and Sale for the first time in 2014.

In anticipation of the 27th Annual Pelham Art Festival Show and Sale, Chairperson Heidi TeBrake spoke about the Art Festival in the Festival Room at the Pelham library on Media Day. Katie Pansolin from the Source at Cogeco TV Niagara spoke with artist Josh Tiessen, a featured draw artist about his artwork and donated draw painting. Artist Robert Amirault talked about his oil artworks and sourcing from nature, and artisan Sonia Zanuttini described her pottery making methods. Many thanks to Cogeco TV and Source reporter Katie Pansolin for a great job and promotional boost for our Festival.
The Voice of Pelham featured an article on one of the 2013 artists, Josh Tiessen, who donated an artwork for the Pelham Art Festival Show and Sale draw at Media Day. And, Heidi TeBrake, Executive Chair of the Festival, presented a cheque for $10,000 to the Pelham Library System. Fund-raising donations totalled $355,000 to date.
