Across the Plains
Cathy Peters
(Sold!)
On a trip through the midwest, I was taken by the land and horizons dotted with wee villages or homesteads along the way. The buildings and farmland created a variance of the landscape: simple yet so rich. It was this inspiration that helped me create what I so enjoyed seeing along the way. A watercolour resist was used for the white area, applied serendipitously to create a semi-abstract foreground. The painting is presented under 3" wide mat, not framed
