Taking visual inspiration from organic forms and patterns found in nature, my abstract paintings explore themes around perception and objectivity. Painting is a meditative undertaking for me, and my process is a mixture of observation and intuitive response, often including photography, sketching and/or collage before the final image takes form as a painting. I play with ambiguous perspective and undefined space, allowing the work to be open to a variety of interpretations from the viewer.
